Leak Insurance Program

Because it is sometimes a great burden to pay for a leak, the District is offering a Leak Insurance Program.

The program is as follows:
1 An annual fee of $30.00 per year, to be assessed to each residential  rate customer who desires to participate in this program. The program runs each year from July to June.
2.  If a Leak should occur, you must notify the billing department at our office toll-free number 1-866-742-2411 or after hour’s toll-free number 1-877-742-2597 when the leak is   discovered and also after repairs are completed. This would insure that the high usage is in fact due to a leak, as well as to insure that the leak is located and repaired. This is for everyone’s Protection.
3.  To calculate the leak insurance amount to be paid, the customer's bills for six months would be averaged and this amount would be deducted from the computed bill. The remainder of the balance would then be classified as a leak. This amount would then be paid from the Leak Insurance Account once the repairs are completed.
THERE WILL BE NO ADJUSTMENTS TO YOUR BILL UNLESS YOU NOTIFY OUR OFFICE AS DESCRIBED IN STEP #2
4. The leak insurance account will pay up to $300.00 maximum per year, per customer. Once that amount is reached, the customer would then become responsible for any additional expense.
We send out notifications to all of our accounts each year in May to sign up for leak insurance,
